n 37528 4Two people have been confirmed dead after an agricultural spraying plane crashed into a forest in the Lara-Kundu area of the southern province of Antalya earlier today.

 

The 55-year-old pilot, Yusuf Karaoğlu, as well as German citizen Mark Paris, 50, was killed in the accident.

 

The microlight plane took off from a car park two kilometers away from Antalya Airport.

I was contacted by a friend of one of the deceased and wanted to a) offer my deepest sympathies and b) make some corrections to the Hurriyet article.

The deceased foreigners name was Marc Paris (not Mark) and he was of French/Italian citizenship not German.

I also read earlier that he was a renowned and respected photographer well know for his yachting photos and was working when he died in this accident.

Thank you for the mail Oscar, my condolences at the loss of your friend and RIP Marc.
